By using our website sellyourstuff.ie you must abide by our rules below, Failure to do so may result in your ad being unpublished or your account suspended. We have a ‘3 strikes and your out’ policy. If you continue to breach the rules after 3 warnings your account will be deactivated indefinitely. So please read through what you can and can’t do, so we can all get along and build a community everyone can love and enjoy 🙂

What You Can’t Sell
Tickets, Vouchers, Jobs, Properties, Pets & Animals. Please do not post wanted ads. No ‘looking for a good home for Bruno’ ads, absolutely no animal sales, trades or giveaways allowed.

General Rules
Selling
All ads are published as soon as you publish them. Ads will be monitored and reviewed each day and will be vetted to prevent misuse of the site. During this time we may find issues with your ad. If we do, we will unpublish it and email you with change requests. As soon as you make the changes, we will republish your ad. The expiry date will be extended by the amount of time your ad spends unpublished. If you fail to make these changes within 7 days your ad will be removed from our system. No refund will be given. 

If you place an ad for any item that we do not allow your ad will be deleted. We will notify you that your ad has been deleted and the reason why.

Please do not upload random pictures for multiple different categories. If you sell in different categories place more than 1 ad.

You will be given 7 days to renew expired ads. If you do not renew them they will be deleted. We don’t put a cap on image uploads but please be kind and don’t kill our server.

If you have any problems with your ads or account contact support.

Conduct
Swearing, creating offensive comments or images, aggressive behavior and attempts to buy or sell stolen or illegal items will result in your account being revoked immediately without notification and you will be reported to the relevant authorities with any and all evidence required for prosecution.
Illegal items include but are not limited to: Knives, Guns, Drugs, alcohol, tobacco or tobacco related items and/or any item.

 

FAKE ITEMS
Fake items such as replicas and “knock-offs” should be clearly stated as replicas.

NO TROLLING
No stealing other peoples sales.
Do not interfere or post negative comments on another person’s sale in order to put potential buyers off. If you have a problem with an ad report it.

ADULT MATERIAL
No selling of explicit items or posting xxx images. We are here to sell stuff we are not a porn site.

DISPUTES
We will not be held responsible for disputes between sellers and buyers, we provide advertising space only. If you have a dispute with a seller, do not post about it in the comments section. It will be deleted. We do not want any arguments on our site. Handle all issues directly.

If your issue cannot be resolved directly you can report the ad, but please do so only if you feel the seller has breached our rules.

We are not obligated to provide information about our sellers/advertisers but will help you in any way possible to ensure that your issue is dealt with effectively. If we feel it necessary to remove a seller, they will, but not by your request.
